There are so many things I could have put in my cultural bag but I narrowed it down to the items that represent me and some traits and characteristics that I have. A Dairy Queen gift card, a stuffed lion, my honor roll bracelet, some school supplies, and a soccer ball.
Something essential in my cultural bag would be a dairy Queen gift card. I got it from one of my soccer coaches at the end of our season. He told us to use it when we thought we had earned it. When we do anything that we are extremely eminent of, then we can treat ourselves to enticing, exquisite, Dairy Queen ice cream.
Another object in my cultural bag is a sandy colored stuffed lion with a prodigious influence on my personality. His stitches are coming undone but when I feel the delicate fur beneath my fingers, I know he is perfect. This lion was my companion on the first day of kindergarten. It resembles bravery and courageousness to me. It shows me that I shouldn’t be scared of what people think of me. He was there when I first learned that it was not a bad thing to be different. My lion is one of the most important items in my bag for these reasons.
An equally important item in my bag is the Nighthawk Honor Roll bracelet. I made the best honor roll which was purple. I love to feel that smooth rubber under my fingertips, I feel reassured in life. To get to purple honor roll, you had to get a grade point average of at least 3.75. I had all A’s and one B and I was extremely proud of it. This bracelet shows that if I put my mind to something than I won’t stop until I achieve it. It reminds me to have confidence in everything I do.
A paper and pencil have slipped into my mind into my mind when I write this because they have a commodious impact on my personality. My parents love me and support me in everything I do but they always want school to be my first priority. I believe that too. I think that you should always be able to have enjoyment in life but I do work first and play later.
The last item in my bag is a soccer ball. As the world agrees, sports are a majestic way to meet new people, enjoy being outdoors, and having something that keeps you occupied. Sports remind me, that the world should not always be formidable, it should be a blast!!! Whatever porting event I’m at, when I hear the crowd yelling their lungs out, feel the breeze through my hair, and smell the greasy vendor food, and I know that sports are an amazing way to get your energy out but to enjoy loving life because we all have a pretty good one!!!
I hope later on in life, I can remember some of these amazing characteristics when I need them most. All of the items in my bag have made a big impact on my personality, my characteristics, and my life.
